NVIDIA-backed Siam AI is constructing a 100MW AI data center to support Southeast Asian digital sovereignty.
Siam AI, positioned as the first Nvidia cloud partner in Thailand, is pursuing an ambitious domestic data center expansion. According to founder and CEO Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, the company plans to build Thailand's largest data center with a capacity of 100 megawatts this year, with expansion to 200 megawatts targeted for 2026.
The startup has secured backing from major Thai corporations Gulf Energy and True Corp., institutional support underscoring the strategic importance of the project within Thailand's technology infrastructure landscape. The initiative reflects broader efforts to establish regional data center capabilities and digital infrastructure sovereignty in Southeast Asia.
Siam AI's partnership with Nvidia positions it at the center of Thailand's emerging cloud services ecosystem, with the planned facility representing a significant investment in the country's AI and data processing capabilities over the next two years.
