NVIDIA is capitalizing on the Steam Summer Sale by offering special GeForce NOW membership pricing and expanding the game library. The company is positioning cloud gaming as a solution to the traditional barriers of PC gaming: storage constraints, hardware requirements, and lengthy download times.

The core value proposition pairs Steam's sale pricing with GeForce NOW's flexibility. Members can purchase games during the Steam Summer Sale and stream them immediately on any device—PCs, Macs, handhelds, phones, or TVs—without needing to download or manage local storage. GeForce NOW handles installation on remote RTX-powered servers in the cloud.

Membership discounts are substantial. The Ultimate tier costs $70 less for a 12-month subscription, unlocking RTX 4080 and 5080-class performance with up to 4K resolution, 120 frames per second, and advanced features including NVIDIA DLSS, ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex. The Performance tier is discounted by $35 annually.

Two new games anchor this week's additions. Dark Scrolls, a kinetic action roguelite from Devolver Digital, features fast-paced combat and evolving builds set in a stylized fantasy world. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, from Square Enix, is a narrative-driven adventure blending exploration with character-focused storytelling across multiple time periods.

Four additional games are joining the service this week, bringing the total to six new titles. GeForce NOW subscribers already have access to existing Devolver Digital games including Cult of the Lamb, both Hotline Miami games, Inscryption, Enter the Gungeon, and Ball x Pit.

A community member highlighted practical performance gains, noting that GeForce NOW improved their World of Warcraft experience from 20-30 fps on low settings to 60+ fps with maximum settings on a modest PC.
