DE-CIX India has announced its expansion into Equinix MB3, marking its presence across four International Business ExchangeTM (IBX®) data centers in Mumbai. The deployment strengthens low-latency interconnection access for networks, cloud providers, enterprises, and digital businesses within the city's newest hyperscale-ready data center ecosystem.

The expansion enables SMEs, SMBs, enterprise ISPs, cloud service providers, OTT platforms, content delivery networks, fintech companies, and other digital-first businesses operating within Equinix MB3 to access DE-CIX India's robust peering ecosystem, enterprise-grade cloud connectivity, and low-latency interconnection services. As Mumbai emerges as India's primary digital traffic aggregation point, the addition of DE-CIX India's interconnection platform is positioned to deliver enhanced network efficiency, reduced latency, superior cloud access, and seamless scalability.

Through its presence at Equinix MB1, MB2, and MB3, DE-CIX India offers customers a comprehensive portfolio of interconnection solutions, including Internet Exchange peering, DirectCLOUD connectivity, enterprise interconnection services, cloud on-ramp capabilities, and Data Center Interconnection services. Customers at MB3 can immediately leverage DE-CIX India's high-performance digital ecosystem to optimize traffic exchange, improve application delivery, and strengthen business continuity.

"Mumbai continues to be the epicenter of India's digital traffic growth, cloud adoption, and enterprise network transformation. As digital businesses increasingly seek infrastructure environments that can deliver scalability, resilience, and ultra-low latency, it becomes imperative for DE-CIX India to be present at every strategic connectivity hub within the city," said Sudhir Kunder, Chief Business Officer, DE-CIX India. "Our deployment at Equinix MB3 is a significant step in that direction, enabling customers within this new facility to instantly tap into a rich, carrier-neutral interconnection ecosystem that enhances performance, accelerates cloud access, and simplifies network expansion."

Kunder added: "Today, the true value of a data center is no longer measured only by the racks it houses, but by the quality of digital ecosystems it connects to. With DE-CIX India now available inside MB3, customers can move beyond simple colocation and unlock direct peering, cloud interconnection, enterprise-grade routing efficiencies, and seamless access to a larger digital marketplace. This is exactly the kind of infrastructure readiness that modern enterprises, ISPs, and content networks require to grow faster and operate smarter."

This expansion reflects DE-CIX India's aggressive growth strategy to deepen its presence across India's leading data center environments and bring world-class interconnection closer to where the nation's digital businesses host, exchange, and consume mission-critical workloads.
