Hyperscale Data, Inc. (AMEX:GPUS) experienced significant momentum on Monday, with shares surging 33% in after-hours trading following the company's announcement of plans to launch an Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) graphics processing unit cloud platform from its Michigan campus. The after-hours rally extended gains from the regular trading session, where the stock had already climbed 24.48% to close at $0.4979. Despite this recent optimism, the company's year-to-date performance has been challenging, with the stock down 90% over the period.

The company, which operates data centers for Bitcoin mining and hosting AI ecosystems, is positioning itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency infrastructure. The on-demand NVIDIA GPU cloud platform will offer instant access to NVIDIA's high-end graphics processors, including the H100, B200, and B300 models, which are built for high-performance computing. Milton "Todd" Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, stated, "We remain committed to running an artificial intelligence ("AI") data center and Bitcoin mining operation side-by-side at our Michigan Facility."

Supporting the company's expansion in Bitcoin mining capabilities, Hyperscale received its Bitmain S21+ mining units earlier this month and confirmed a new order for an additional 1,000 S21+ miners. The Bitmain S21+ systems are among the most energy-efficient Bitcoin mining solutions available on the market, offering superior hashrate performance and power efficiency. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $113,927.77, down 1.19% over the previous 24 hours. According to Benzinga's proprietary Edge Rankings, Growth emerged as the strongest category for GPUS, rated at 18.33/100.
