AMD has announced its new Radeon PRO V620 GPU, featuring the RDNA 2 architecture combined with 32GB of GDDR6 memory and Infinity Cache technology. The GPU is designed for high-performance acceleration across cloud workloads, immersive AAA gaming, and large-scale 3D workloads.

The Radeon PRO V620 offers impressive GPU-partitioning capabilities and multi-stream hardware-accelerated encoders, with its 32GB of GDDR6 memory enabling it to scale to multiple graphics users. This architecture allows companies to save money on graphics acceleration for large workloads while supporting efficient resource allocation across multiple simultaneous users.

Jeff Connell, corporate vice president of Visual and Cloud Gaming at AMD, stated: "AMD is bringing high-performance AAA gaming experience to the cloud with the introduction of the AMD Radeon PRO V620. We're seeing adoption of gaming in the cloud from customers around the world, taking advantage of the latest virtualization features delivering efficient and low latency content streaming to multiple simultaneous users. AMD Radeon PRO V620 is yet another proof point of AMD's excellence in gaming - from the PC to the console and now to the cloud."

The GPU features the Navi 21 architecture clocked at up to 2200MHz and delivers up to 20.2 TFLOPs of compute performance through its 4608 Stream Processors and 72 Compute Units. The 32GB of GDDR6 memory operates on a 256-bit memory bus providing up to 512GB/sec of memory bandwidth. The card slots into a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, measures in a dual-slot form factor, and has a 300W TBP.
